Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: June 26, 2026

This policy explains how refunds, cancellations, downgrades and billing work for DevDome paid subscription plans.

DevDome paid plans are sold through our authorized reseller and merchant of record, Freemius, which processes your payment and handles any VAT or sales tax due at checkout based on your location. Refund requests are reviewed by DevDome under this policy and, when approved, are returned through the merchant of record to your original payment method. Business customers who provide a valid VAT ID may qualify for reverse charge where it applies.

1

14-day money-back guarantee

If you are not satisfied with your first purchase of a DevDome paid plan, you can request a full refund within 14 days of the initial payment, no questions asked.

The 14-day window applies to your first subscription payment. Renewal payments are generally not refundable, but you can cancel at any time so you are not billed again.

2

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time: your account’s Billing page takes you to billing support, or contact us directly from the email address on your account.

  • cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • you keep full access to your paid features until that date
  • no further payments are taken after cancellation
  • your account then continues on the Free plan and nothing is deleted
3

Upgrades and downgrades

Upgrades apply instantly. Complete checkout on the higher plan and it takes effect immediately. Contact billing and we refund the unused remainder of your previous plan’s billing period.

Downgrades take effect at the end of the billing period. Contact billing to move to a lower plan: you keep your current plan’s features until the period you have already paid for ends; the next billing cycle starts on the new plan.

4

Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, your subscription is simply not renewed. You can complete checkout again at any time to continue on a paid plan.

If the payment cannot be collected, your account is moved to the Free plan at the end of the period you already paid for. Nothing is deleted. Upgrading again restores your paid features.

5

Your data after cancellation or downgrade

When your plan ends or is downgraded, data above the limits of your new plan is retained for 60 days, not deleted.

  • re-upgrade within 60 days and your full history is restored exactly as it was
  • after 60 days, data beyond your current plan’s limits may be pruned
  • data within your current plan’s limits is always kept
6

How to request a refund

Reach out via our Contact Page from the email address on your account, or reply to any of your payment receipts. Include your Account ID (shown on your Account page) so we can find your subscription quickly.

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, typically within 5-10 business days depending on your bank.
