DD DevDome Track. Protect. Grow.
How it works

From install to insight in three steps

No tag manager, no data-layer wrangling, and by default nothing stored on your visitors' devices. Connect and go.

01

The three steps

What you do, and what you see.

01. Install DevDome Analytics

In WordPress, go to Plugins > Add New, install it and activate it.

02. Connect your free account

In WordPress, open DevDome > Analytics, click Connect Via DevDome Account and approve the connection on devdome.com.

03. Open your dashboard

Check your tracking settings, then open your reports: visitors, top pages, countries and outbound clicks, with bots shown separately.

02

What happens to every hit

Four stages between a page load and a number on the dashboard.

Collect

A script tag (or the WordPress plugin) sends pageviews, outbound clicks and engagement to analytics.devdome.com. By default nothing is stored on the visitor's device; the plugin also records outbound clicks on the server, so a click still counts when the browser script is blocked.

Score

Every hit is checked against known crawler signatures, datacenter networks and abusive IP lists, plus device and behaviour signals, and lands in the human or the bot column. The bots are named, not just subtracted.

The detection signals

Stitch

Pages, referrers, countries, devices and outbound clicks are joined into one path per visitor, with the 30-minute visit rule, so you can see how real people move through the site.

The Analytics plugin

Serve

The dashboard, the Stats API and the MCP server read the same reports, so a number in Claude or in a script is the number on the screen.

What that gives you

The four things the product is built around.

People and bots counted separately

Every hit is counted as a person or as a bot, so pageviews and clicks are shown for people and for bots next to each other. Some bots can still be missed.

Bots by name and type

Known crawlers are listed by name and automated traffic is grouped by type in the dashboard. Blocking them on your website is the job of the free DevDome Bot Protection plugin.

Visitor paths

Pages, referrers, countries, devices and outbound clicks are joined into one path per visitor, as far as tracking without cookies allows.

One account, all your websites

Connect as many websites as you want to one DevDome account and read the same reports in the dashboard, with the Stats API or from an AI assistant through the MCP server.
