Hide distractions, review captured notices and simplify menus for client handover. Cleanup changes visibility without deleting site content or changing user permissions.
Review captured notices by source, classification and mute status. Hide them for yourself or all administrators, or snooze for 1 or 7 days. Notice hiding applies only to users who can access Admin Cleaner.
Clean My Admin hides dashboard widgets, supported toolbar items, footer details and plugin list notice rows. It also hides captured notices for all administrators and enables Auto-hide new notices, including supported notices added after page load.
Hide built-in dashboard widgets individually, with a shared option for widgets added by plugins and themes. This simplifies the existing dashboard without adding widgets. The Cleanliness indicator reflects workspace preferences, not site health or security.
Hide the WordPress logo, Comments, New, Updates and Customize, plus extra top-level items added by plugins or themes. The toolbar remains available, and hiding Updates does not disable updates or fix reported issues.
Client Mode hides selected menus for chosen roles, including custom roles, without changing permissions. Users with manage_options, the Admin Cleaner capability or network management privileges are exempt. Other direct URLs still follow existing permissions.
Undo last change restores the previous settings once. Restore notices separately in the inbox or use Clear all mutes, and turn off Auto-hide new notices to keep future notices visible.
Settings, notice records and mutes stay in your site's options table, with redacted excerpts and no raw notice HTML. Retention targets 200 records; unresolved protected notices remain above that limit with a storage warning.
On WordPress 6.9 or newer, 14 abilities support authorised AI agents; MCP clients need the WordPress MCP Adapter. Every ability checks permissions, and specified actions require explicit confirmation. Older WordPress versions register no abilities.
Choose individual settings or apply broad cleanup with Clean My Admin. Review captured notices in the inbox and configure Client Mode for handover.
Install DevDome Admin Cleaner from WordPress.org and activate it. Open DevDome Tools > Admin Cleaner.
Choose individual options and press Save Settings, or press Clean My Admin for broad cleanup, including hiding captured notices for all administrators and enabling Auto-hide new notices.
Review hidden notices in the Notice Inbox. For client handover, choose roles and supported menu entries in Client Mode; permissions stay unchanged.
Open DevDome Tools > Admin Cleaner > Notice Inbox. Select notices, choose Hide (you), Hide for all admins or a snooze action, then press Apply. Snooze options are 1 or 7 days. Notice hiding applies only to users who can access Admin Cleaner, normally administrators.
Yes. Update, error and security notices can be hidden, including those marked Critical. Hiding them does not disable updates, fix reported issues or stop notification emails. Restore captured notices from the inbox and turn off Auto-hide new notices to keep future notices visible.
Open Dashboard Widgets, select the widgets to hide and press Save Settings. Built-in widgets have individual options; widgets from plugins and themes share an option. Clean My Admin enables all these hiding options. Hiding Site Health does not improve site health, and the Cleanliness indicator only reflects workspace preferences.
Clean My Admin hides interface items without deleting posts, pages, media, plugins or themes. Removing inbox records, Delete all notice data and retention housekeeping can permanently delete stored notice records and mutes. A deleted notice can return if its source displays it again. Uninstalling removes settings and notice data.
Client Mode changes visibility, not permissions. Enabled options redirect the theme editor, plugin editor and Updates screens to the dashboard. Other direct URLs follow existing permissions. Users with manage_options, the Admin Cleaner capability or network management privileges are exempt. Hiding menu entries does not replace access control.
Undo last change keeps one settings recovery point. Restore notices separately in the inbox or use Clear all mutes. Turn off Auto-hide new notices to stop hiding future notices. Individual settings can show widgets and toolbar items again. Deactivation stops cleanup while preserving saved data.
Yes. Settings and notice records are stored separately for each site, so configure Admin Cleaner from each site's dashboard. It also handles network dashboard widgets and network admin notice hooks. There is no central screen for applying one configuration across every site.
No account is required; cleanup runs locally without network requests. The shared dashboard fetches the DevDome plugin catalog. Optional account connections and error reports you submit contact DevDome. The self-hosted edition also downloads update information and bot reference lists. Admin Cleaner stores nothing on a visitor device and sends no visitor data off-site.
Everything you need before you install, with no account required.
Install DevDome Admin Cleaner from WordPress.org (Plugins, Add New, search for DevDome Admin Cleaner) or upload the ZIP, then activate it.
No account is needed for Admin Cleaner's features. Connecting a free DevDome account through the DevDome Tools dashboard is optional.
Open DevDome Tools > Admin Cleaner. Choose what to hide in the settings tabs and press Save Settings, or press Clean My Admin for broad cleanup.
Clean My Admin hides dashboard widgets, supported toolbar items, footer text, the version number and plugin list notice rows. It also hides notices already captured in the inbox for all administrators and enables Auto-hide new notices.
For client handover, open Client Mode, choose the roles and select the supported menu entries to hide. Client Mode changes visibility without changing roles or permissions.
Settings, notice records and mutes are stored in your site's WordPress options table. Notice excerpts are limited to 160 characters and redacted to remove email addresses, tokens, keys, nonces, URL query strings and filesystem paths; raw notice HTML is never stored. Cleanup features run locally, store nothing on a visitor device and send no visitor data off-site.
The shared DevDome Dashboard fetches the plugin catalog from devdome.com, sending only the bundled core version. Pressing Report this error sends DevDome the error text, plugin and bundled library versions, WordPress and PHP versions, multisite status, site locale, current screen, plugin counts and flags without notice text, site address, generated site ID, connected DevDome account ID if applicable, and your admin email. No error report is sent unless you press the button.
Optional account connection sends your site address, a generated site ID and a generated secret site token to DevDome. Subsequent account checks send the site address and token. Connecting through the dashboard card that discloses plugin sharing also includes active DevDome plugin slugs and versions, plus bundled library, WordPress and PHP versions in those checks. Previously connected sites and connections from buttons without that disclosure do not send the plugin list. Disconnecting stops the checks and plugin list sharing.
Updates for the WordPress.org edition come only from WordPress.org, like any other directory plugin. This edition contains no self-hosted updater.
Deactivating stops cleanup while preserving saved data. Deleting the plugin removes its settings, stored notice records and mutes from your WordPress options table.
Notices are still hidden after Undo last change: undo restores only the settings from before the most recent settings change. Restore notices separately in the Notice Inbox or use Clear all mutes, and turn off Auto-hide new notices to keep future notices visible.
Update, error or security notices have disappeared: Admin Cleaner can hide these, including notices marked Critical. Restore captured notices in the inbox and turn off Auto-hide new notices. Hiding notices does not disable updates or notification emails.
Client Mode does not hide menus for a user: check the selected roles and menu entries. Users with manage_options, the Admin Cleaner capability or network management privileges are exempt. Hiding a menu entry does not remove access allowed by the user's permissions.
Cleanup settings differ between sites on multisite: settings and notice records are stored separately for each site. Configure Admin Cleaner from each site's dashboard; there is no central screen for applying one configuration across every site.
